Řádky z lásky - children’s poetry book illustrations
This project will always be close to my heart — it brought me back to what I’ve loved since childhood: drawing.
The goal was straightforward: to translate the written word into a visual form, capture the essence of each poem, and spark curiosity in young readers — encouraging them to explore the illustrations and connect them with the verses.
The writer, Iva Vaskova, brought each verse to life with warmth and vivid detail, making the process of translating these short stories into illustrations a true joy.
The greatest measure of success came from the responses of children and parents, who shared how much they enjoyed exploring each page together.
One teacher even reached out to request a specific illustration that her students loved the most — she later printed it and turned it into a classroom game.
